If you’re like most students, you may be struggling to come up with ideas on how to make this year your best yet. So, if you’re having trouble getting started on your New Year’s resolutions, here are a few pointers.

Set achievable goals

It’s important to set goals that are realistic and achievable, otherwise, you’re just setting yourself up for disappointment. When it comes to school work, break your goals down into smaller steps so that you can easily track your progress.

Be specific

When setting your goals, be sure to be as specific as possible. This will help you stay on track and make progress towards your goal.

Make a plan

Be patient

This one goes hand in hand with creating a study schedule. It will be impossible to get anything done if your school work is spread all over the room. Reward yourself

When you complete a goal, allow yourself to have something that you enjoy as a reward. This can be anything from taking the day off of school work to having some ice cream with friends after your midterm. The key is to not get carried away, or otherwise enormous goals will take an eternity to achieve! At the end of the day, just remember to have fun and enjoy your time in school with your friends and teachers.
